The PTR Group provides a team of highly qualified engineers, with experience encompassing a wide variety of development environments, platforms, and applications. Our experience comes from building systems and developing solutions at organizations such as Wind River, ISI, Enea OSE, SPARTA, Texas Instruments, Ericsson, NASA, Orbital Sciences, Red Hat, and E-Systems. We leverage this experience to offer solutions ranging from specialized consulting services to complete project outsourcing.

Our Herndon, Virginia office acts as company headquarters. This office provides support for our training, services and aerospace business areas. The facility contains meeting facilities and our training business area logistics depot, complete with a service lab for our training equipment. The office is convieniently located minutes from Dulles Washingoton Airport (IAD) just off the Dulles Toll Road.

PTR’s maintains a 4200 square feet design center in Rockwall, Texas. This is the lead site for design efforts by the PTR Defense Systems group. Facilities include an electronics lab, ultrasonics lab, final test areas, offices and a conference room. The electronics lab includes full printed circuit board assembly and test capabilities and a full suite of digital and analog design and diagnosis tools. Prototypes are fabricated in the Rockwall facility. Production efforts are distributed amongst nearby key suppliers such as Precision Cable, Metal-Rite Fabrication and Amana Electronics. Final test of all delivered systems for the US Navy are performed in the Rockwall facility.

PTR maintains a 3200 square foot engineering support center located minutes from the Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI), in Savage, MD. This site provides support to engineering teams working for our local Maryland commercial and defense customers. The Savage offices are configured to support design and testing of network-based applications and include multiple lab spaces (electronic and network), offices and a conference room.
