Join a fast growing, engineering focused company specializing in the development of embedded and real-time software solutions for a wide variety of customers and applications. Candidate will be asked to work on customer contracted embedded engineering tasks typically focused networking applications and protocols.
Requirements:
The candidate should have at least 4 years experience Java software development including hands-on experience with the following:
- Full life cycle development including design, implementation, test, and delivery
- Development using Java in a J2EE environment
- Development of applications using SQL databases such as Oracle
- Development of multi-threaded applications
- Development of networked applications using TCP or UDP
Ideal candidates will be experienced programmers with knowledge in one or more of these areas
- JBoss, RichFaces
- Eclipse
- Experience with C or C++, GNU Toolchain, Build tools such as ant and make
- Python
- Shell Scripting
Must have the ability to:
- Capable of working independently or with a small team, as required
- Analyze, modify, and troubleshoot software written by other engineers
- take ownership of problems and see them through to completion
Team leadership experience is highly desirable
BS/BA or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or other pertinent experience
Must be a US Citizen - Active Top Secret Security Clearance is Required

Requirements:
The candidate should have at least 4 years experience in embedded software development including hands-on experience with the following:
- Full life cycle development including design, implementation, test, and delivery
- Development using C or C++ targeting embedded OS’s, embedded Linux, or other non-Windows platforms
- Development of multi-threaded applications
Ideal candidates will be experienced programmers with expert-level knowledge in one or more of these areas
- Capable of working iLow-level programming of Windows and/or Linux device drivers
- Operating system internals
- Assembly language programming
- Kernel debugging
- networking and protocol stacks
- systems engineering of large scale embedded systems
- ability to work with and debug hardware
- the boot process and specific procedures used in booting embedded targets
Must possess a deep understanding of networking and network protocols and have experience in developing networked applications using TCP or UDP
Must have the ability to:
- Capable of working independently or with a small team, as required
